Just over a year after its disappearance, the missing Argentine Submarine ARA San Juan has been found with the help of US search firm Ocean Infinity. The Sub disappeared in November 2017 with the loss of all 44 crew and how the issue is how to raise the sunken vessel so the family and relatives of the lost can get some closure.
Currently, the Argentine authorities are indicating that they don’t have the means to rais the vessel, however, the most likely reason for inaction is the cost, which is an insult to the crew who died in the service of their country.
Hopefully, they will soon reconsider.
