With Boris Johnson easing the lockdown measures due to Coronavirus infecting less people and less people are dying from the deadly virus, some people are wondering what the difference between today and yesterday. There isn’t much significant change to the lockdown measures apart from certain things. Most of it is to do with more activities outside the household but not everyone is certain on what they can do with there jobs and work placement. It’s been 7 weeks since England went into lockdown, whats the difference now to then?

“Can I meet up with friends and or relatives?”

It is said that anyone can go outside and meet up with a friend and or relative as ling as they stick to these two rules. No one in the house other than the person you live with and make sure you stay 2 meters apart, even if that is at a park. The way it would work at home is staying in the garden and allowing them to seat there 2 meters away from you and or across the gate from you, allowing the virus to not spread. The government has said that this is allowed and some people can follow.

“Can I exercise more?”

The rules for this has relaxed a lot since the last one, there is currently no limit to how much exercise you can do right now, the old rule was 1 exercise a day but now it has changed to anyone can go outside and do some activities but only none physical activities like golf. This is great for those who are wanting to go out more, however this is only “for leisure purpose”. Includes sunbathing!

“Should I go back to my workplace and how will I get there?”

For some people they can return to work if there place is open and the government has said that those who can’t work from home should travel to work and if possible by means of driving, walking and or cycling and those who can work from home are said to stay at home working “for the foreseeable future”.
