For the first time since the coronavirus hit the UK, the numbers have started going down! The past few days have been up and down with the virus and not seen much progress, however, even though lockdown is getting eased… the numbers are going down! The UK saw over 1,000 cases a day once the lockdown effect happened, since easing them they have been up and down, however, yesterday the UK recorded 968 cases only! Great improvement and shows that lockdown did in fact work fine and has worked so no one else in the UK can worry about the virus hitting them anymore! Lockdown is still up with some rules been taken off, however, lockdown will be easing more and more in the coming future.
968 infected cases and 38 died. Those are the figures for yesterday’s brief. The numbers for the UK are going down but other countries are starting to feel the effect more than the UK. Brazil and Russia being the two main ones, with India in behind! Brazil has nearly got 1,000,000 confirmed cases, almost catching up with USA. Getting over 20,000 infected cases a day and almost 1,000 dying every day. Brazil is suffering from the worst part of the pandemic and will continue to do so if nothing changes. They are at the peak of the virus and could be there for a while.
China, on the other hand, they have pretty much finished with the virus and are still doing testings to try and get a vaccine created, however, they are going up in infected people now, if not careful they could have a second spike of the virus and could be back at square one! Currently, they have 117 people infected with the virus and could be getting back up to where they were. The virus is slowly getting worse in some countries and better in others.
