Yesterday, two male prisoners attacked a prison officer, and its being treated as a terror attack. The Metropolitan Police said that the men in their 20s were arrested on Monday on suspicion of conspiracy to murder and preparation of a terrorist act.

It happened as the cells were unlocked, reports say, and the attackers used improvised weapons, which are usually sharp, unsanitary objects. Its been said that the men were also wearing fake suicide vests at the time of the attack. Four others including a nurse were also injured in the attack, as they tried to help the prison guard.

The prison is no stranger to riots, with a serious incident that left a few people injured happening last year.

Questioning is being continued in a London police station, where the men are being held at this time.
