What do you do as Turkish President if your prefered candidate loses a democratically voted mayoral election – why declare it illegal and have the vote again in the hope you get the “right” result the second time. Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan hasn’t done himself or his country any favours as this looks more like dictatorship than democracy.
