A teen snuck off on his first lads holiday with his mates, and only told his mum he was going once he was on the plane.

Keiran Lindsay booked the holiday only 4 days before the rest of his pals were set to fly off to Magaluf. He dropped off his suitcase at a friends house a few days prior to the flight, and picked it up just before take-off, whilst his protective mum Claire thought he was in bed.
He let her know his whereabouts on the plane, sending her a selfie and saying “do you really think I’d miss Maga with the boys?”
Once he landed, he was greeted by a collection of angry texts, branding him and “immature idiot” and criticising his outfit.

Despite the many calls he was forced to take to his mum every day, Electrician Kieran said it was the best week of his life.
Keiran, from Saltcoats, Scotland, said: “My mates were saying not to text her [my mum] until the plane was about to leave in case she phoned security or something.
“I got on the plane and the doors had literally just shut, so I thought ‘f*** it there’s no way she can stop me now’, so I got a picture of me and my pals and sent it to her.
“I turned my phone off aeroplane mode in the airport and I had 500 notifications, 30 missed calls and those angry texts.
“She FaceTimed me, so I answered it and she was crying, but I didn’t feel bad one bit. I knew I’d be fine and I just said that there’s nothing she could do, it was out of her hands.
“She phoned and texted me every day, and at the start it was like phone calls every ten minutes, but as each day went by she kind of calmed down a bit.”
He tried to get her approval for a while before going, and he accepted her wishes at first. But his friends reminded him of how much he’d regret not going, so he just decided to book it anyways. It all seemed to work out for the best too, Kieran had a great time, and his mum wasn’t even that angry when he came back!
He said: “When I got home she was in, and she saw me coming in.”
“I was kind of laughing and she was pretending to be angry, but I think she found it a wee bit funny herself.”
