Teacher in France has been stabbed by a teacher to death by one of their students in the French town of Saint-Jean-de-Luz.
There was an attack that happened in a school regarding a teacher and one of their students. The French government confirmed that the attack took place on Wednesday and was by a 16 year old.
Police attended this and arrested the student after the incident took place.
French newspaper Sud Ouest said the attacker entered the classroom while the teacher was giving a Spanish class and attacked her.
The teacher was in her fifties and died of cardiac arrest after emergency services arrived at the school, local media reported. Stat the BBC!
In a press conference, Mr Véran said the government would support educators across the country in the wake of the incident.
“I can hardly imagine the trauma that this represents,” he said.
