Schools around the UK have said they are reopening on the 1st June, after all the pandemic is possibly over and done with, however with the rise in infections still quite high… there will be a lot of students that won’t be attending the schools at all. A lot of parents think that this is too early to reopen schools and think this is a high risk, however the government have said school can reopen in June. Some Primary schools won’t be reopening any time soon, however others will regardless to the risk that it could involve.
The risks are as follows, if travelling by bus and or train, the likely-hood of getting Covid-19 is high, and if they do get the virus… they will pass it on to everyone in that school and the numbers will go higher, maybe starting a second spike of the virus before we know it. Schools can reopen at this time but if they do is different. To a lot of people it is too early to return to school and return to anything, but right now nothing has changed.
The rules will be implemented to these schools to stop pupils from spreading the virus if they do end up having, however regardless to these rules, it’ll be difficult anyway! Social distancing will be difficult to do in general but they will try there best to do this!
