Some parents and guardians would be scared and or shocked to see that schools are currently about to reopen with coronavirus still on the loose, still on the rise and still infecting thousands each day, even though we are still in lockdown we are still seeing thousands each day getting infected by the virus and still dying to it as well. Schools in Scotland are set to reopen soon and some people seem to think that this is awful and they shouldn’t be doing this at all. Due to coronavirus still being about.

Fully reopening the schools is said to overwhelm the NHS and could in turn make the NHS struggle if the virus ends up going into that one primary school and infecting all the kids in it. The Scottish government has published an issue in the paper saying there options on lifting there virus lockdown rules due to the virus not spreading so much there, however if they do it too soon, there could be a second spike. Some parents may not want there kids to return to school knowing they could get a virus from it.

“any return to school might not be possible at all ahead of the summer holidays”.

Currently Scotland has over 26,000 people infected and could have more if they lift the lockdown far to early. The UK are waiting for figures to go down before easing the lockdown, they are not considering lifting unless the virus is easily contained and everything is in order. No spreading up to thousand a day, no deaths above a certain limit. Is this to early to reopen a school?
