Smoothies are not only tasty, but they’re often very nutritious, and with the right ingredients heavily contribute to your 5 a day. 

You can have them iced or not, and with whatever ingredients you like! But in case you don’t know how to make them, here’s a guide.

Ingredients 

  • Various Fruit (choose whatever you want)
  • Ice (Optional)
  • Milk (optional)
  • Fruit Juice (optional)
  • Yogurt (optional)

Example. This one has berries and yogurt in.

Method 

All you have to do to make your smoothie is cut up your fruit into slightly smaller bits, (if it’s a big fruit like banana), and put it all into the blender.

Add the fruit juice, milk or yogurt along side the ice (if you want it colder and thicker) and blend until properly blended. If your blender is struggling to blend it all, make sure it’s all cut up well enough, and maybe remove some ice.

Serve in a glass or cup.
