Airports and flights have been either cancelled or due at a different date, there are a few planes going out and some coming in but overall most of the flights are cancelled due to the most recent outbreak known as coronavirus. Flights are soon to be back on track and back to normal. Some airports are ready to get back to normal and back to flying. There is going to be an announcement about the virus soon to see if anything gets eased down. This could be the end of lockdown but some rules will still be in place, meaning some rules will still take effect.

Airports are asking all passengers to wear gloves and masks while going on holiday. This could reduce the spread of coronavirus until the virus is contained and a cure is created. “one way in which air travel can be made safe”. said MAG. The rules are starting to apply in Manchester and East Midlands airports. MAG Boss Charlie Cornish said:

“It’s clear that social distancing will not work on any form of public transport. But we’re confident that when the time is right, people will be able to travel safely. We now need to work urgently with government to agree how we operate in the future. This has to be a top priority so that people can be confident about flying, and to get tourism and travel going again.”
