Cost-of-living is a new one off payment that the government in the UK are doing to help those who will be struggling with living costs all across the UK, mainly to do with the new living costs going up and to help those with the cost of petrol!
The new living costs will be increasing all across the UK and there are more than eight million people across the UK that will receive a payment of £650 and the payments are coming sooner than some people may have thought!
The payment will be split into two individual payments. Meaning one month you will get £326 and then the next month £324, rather than the £650 payment straight off the bat. This means that there will be two payments rather than one all together.
“The success of these measures will ultimately be judged by whether financial help is getting to the most vulnerable in time to help them through this cost-of-living crisis.” said the Policy Director Rocio Concha!
This is to help those who typically struggle with money in general as there are a lot of people across the UK struggling with money due to help with costs of living and petrol prices as they continue to increase.
