Madonna says she “must listen to her body” as she cancels another show on her tour.
The most recently cancelled show was is Lisbon, and she only gave fans 45 minutes notice.
“We regret to inform you that Madonna is unable to perform this evening,” an email informed ticketholders at 19:45. She was due on stage at 20:30.
“Sorry I had to cancel tonight, but I must listen to my body and rest!” she wrote on Instagram.
“How an injured Madame X warms up for a show,” she wrote in the caption. “Very carefully.”
The star began the current stage of her tour in Portugal on January 12th, and she seemed to be enjoying the Madame X tour, whilst drinking port on stage and interacting with fans.
“She did a great show here last night so you and the other fans are just really unlucky,” one of the staff members said.
Her injury is still unspecified, leaving fans concerned about her health, but she has had problems in the past with her knees and ligaments.
