Lockdown has been keeping some of us away from seeing our loved ones and our friends. Lockdown is to stop the most recent deadly virus known as Covid-19 and to try and contain the spread from getting worse than it already is. Recently, Boris Johnson took the stage and said that this is not the time to end lockdown and introduced a new system known as the Covid-19 alert system. There have been some changes in the rules as of now but not enough to have people walking everywhere.

The government have confirmed that people in England are allowed to see someone out of there household outdoors, as long as they stay 2 meters apart at all times and do not enter either houses. Dominic Raab urged the people however to use common sense when seeing these people and do not enter there homes in case of another spike of this virus occurs. There is a huge scare in case this virus has a second spike but we will never know until lockdown is official over. This has been added to the 50-page guidance document, which will soon be published by the government later on.

This still means that you must only leave the house if it is an essential journey, however there is some more stuff people can do now, however Boris Johnson announced a plan that could reopen society and eventually take England out of lockdown. May put lockdown back up if.. the virus has a second spike!
