Armed Police shot and killed a man wielding a knife in London last night.
The man was seen in Westminster and was reportedly acting “suspiciously” at around 23:30 on Sunday the 8th of March. Reports suggest that he was alone, but I am yet to confirm this. When officers approached and challenged the man, he pulled out two knives and confronted the officers, who were on foot patrol.
He was then tasered, and gun shots were fired. The man was pronounced dead by the London Ambulance Service but the incident is not being treated as terror related. No one, except the man wielding the knife, was hurt in the incident.
There is still a police cordon around the area, and “higher up” police officials have been informed of the incident.
