Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson has said Kevin Hart is “doing very well” after being involved in a serious car crash earlier this month, where he sustained serious back injuries.
As we reported earlier in the month, Kevin Hart, the comedian and actor who has starred in films such as ‘Central Intelligence’, was taken to hospital after he was involved in a serious car crash. He was the passenger in the car, which he owned, and the driver is reportedly doing well also. Police reported that the driver was not under the influence the night of the crash.
Speaking on The Kelly Clarkson Show, Johnson said Hart was “a lucky man”.
The pair are known to be very close.
“Everything is good,” he said. “I spoke with Kevin – I connected with him today. And you know what? These things happen in life and thankfully he was strapped in nicely to his car seat.”
It’s well known that Hart and Johnson have a close relationship together, after starring in multiple films together like the 2017 remake of ‘Jumaji’ and ‘Central Intelligence’.
“I love the guy, he’s one of my best friends,” Johnson went on.
“And honestly, I mean, thank God, it could have been a lot worse. So, he’s a lucky man, and he knows it, too.
“I wish him the best and a speedy recovery and I’m going to see him soon.”
