How to Care for Someone with Covid-19!

Patients with the virus will have mild symptoms and could pass it on to someone at anytime, these symptoms may seem like a flu and or cold, but in some cases it is coronavirus and not many people see it, however if you find yourself living with someone with this virus, you should make sure you self isolate at home for longer than 7 days. Follow the health care guide issued by the Public Health England and ensure that the person with virus is staying indoors at all times. If you experience a cough or high temperature over 37.8, you should stay at home.

Symptoms of the virus can be a small cough, a high temperature and some other small cold like symptoms that may make anyone seem like they have a cold and or flu. But how would you be able to take care of someone with this virus.

What they need!

Someone with the virus may not want to do anything at all, but these are the must do thing to ensure that they are safe and sound while battling this dangerous virus. They need to make sure they have plenty of rest, with this, it allows them to recover from resting and keep them from having issues breathing, plenty of food, no one can survive without food for longer than 4 or so weeks, this will ensure they stay in the same weight and not lose much weight from the virus, last thing to make sure about is plenty of water, this is an essential. Make sure they stay hydrated and drink plenty of water. Make sure they take paracetamol to slow the fever down. If the symptoms grow stronger make sure you contact the health experts on 111.

Isolate their area!

They need to make sure they are in isolation for longer than 7 days, so ideally they need to stay in an area very isolate from everyone and anyone around them, to stop the spread going to everyone else. When giving them food and or water, leave the water outside and food as well, to ensure there is no contact with them while they are staying inside there isolate room, keep 2 meters away and a mask to stay safe. Once they go somewhere in the house, ensure that you clean everything that they touch.

Isolate yourself!

Once you isolate your friend and or partner, you will need to isolate yourself to ensure if you do keep yourself to yourself in case you do end u getting some of the germs of the virus on your hands and spreading them anywhere in the world.
