The house is in a remote woodland area near Carmarthen, so the remoteness will really make you feel like you’re really in the shire!
The cosy house is up on rightmove for £475,000, which you may think is a bit steep… but just look at the place; if I had that amount of money, I’d for sure buy it! You could do so much with it – either live off the grid in it, or use it as a home you rent out on sites such as Air BnB.

You may be thinking though, how do they have any contact with the outside world? Well, the current owner uses a dongle to connect to the internet, and you have to heat the house yourself by any means (usually by burning wood).
But despite this, there a few things you wouldn’t even find in your average home that’s in touch with civilisation, such as a stone workshop complete with shower area, WC and hand wash basin, a separate first floor area, and elsewhere on the property there are three round houses that can be used for ”further recreation, get-togethers, barbeques or storage”.
