Coronavirus is the deadliest virus we have seen in recent years, no cure, no vaccine, and killing almost everyone from young to old. The year 2020 will be remembered as the worst year ever, since the whole world has been in lockdown due to this virus spreading to much. The UK went into lockdown March time, as France on the 17th March 2020. The virus was only in China at the time of December, growing faster and faster, the virus was none stop going and infecting people, however when people moved from China to Europe, however France knew of a cases before the infection began fully in Europe.

France recorded a cases as far back as December, however at first they didn’t think that it was coronavirus due to the pandemic not being in Europe at the time, but after recent discovery, the patient that was diagnosed with Pneumonia near Paris, was actually suffering from coronavirus. This means that the virus arrive in Europe almost a month before we really knew about it. The patient that had this virus has fully recovered since then and has no idea where he caught the virus from, since he said he was not in any infected areas. A lot of people will not care about this but for scientific research… it is key to know where the infection started so they can understand how the virus spreads.

It is strange to think that the virus was first in Europe in December, when we all first knew about the case a month later. This shows that the virus can easily spread between bodies, scientist will be doing more and more research on this virus for further testing. Currently, France have 169,462 cases, even though there pandemic started sooner than the UK, the UK has 190,584 confirmed cases. China right now have 395 active cases, with 82,881 confirmed cases overall. France have done well to stop the pandemic from getting worse and stop it from being worse than USA, Italy, Spain and the UK since they got there first confirmed cases back in December.
