New false assault accusations have been made against a promising football player and his friend. The Accuser has recently came out and told authorities she was lying, and has been sentenced to 1 year in prison. The sentence is deserved because there are too many false, life ruining accusations just like this, and someone needed to be made an example of. The FBI has put the number of “unfounded” rapes – those determined to be false after investigation – at 8%; that’s 8 innocent people being wrongly branded as rapists for the accusers selfish gain. In the case of the lady pictured above, the accusations were an impulsive statement to a potential boyfriend so he would feel sorry for her and not judge her on her actions as it was revealed that her and two other men had gone into a bathroom at a party; everything was consensual. The men later lost places in schools and one of the men developed anxiety and PTSD because of the accusations.
Hopefully the real victims in this story are allowed to re-join their schools and her actions have no more effect on their life.
