Piers Morgan has said that he thinks Dominic Cummings single-handedly ruined the lockdown in the UK.
Cummings broke the rules days after they were put in place.
He made this claim upon his return to good morning Britain after having a short holiday alongside other cast members.
Hes known for not keeping his opinion to himself, and started the show this morning by addressing the whole situation surrounding the PMs advisor.
In case you didn’t know, Dominic Cummings was discovered to have made a few trips whilst displaying symptoms of Coronavirus, and some afterwards too that have been deemed a breach of lockdown rules. The PM refused to sack him, and he didn’t resign either.
“He’s single-handedly destroyed the lockdown,” Piers said.
“He’s destroyed trust in the Government. He needs to go. God knows what Cummings had on Boris Johnson.”
“Every part of this story stinks. There he is, the guy who made the rules as if nothing happened. Britain has basically gone “forget the rule”.
“It’s one rule for them and one rule for us.”
Anger over the rule breaking is still prominent in the UK, despite the PMs constant dismissal of the situation. Recently a petition to kick Cummings out of government reached over 1m signatures, but still no action has been taken.
