Covid-19 is still around and the vaccine has finally been created! The vaccine has been said to be 95% affected with some side effects, to say the least! The vaccine has started to roll out a year later from when it was found in Wuhan, China, and just under a year from when the virus started to spread across the world.
The virus vaccine started rolling out last week and in just a week, the UK has had over 130,000 people vaccinated with the new Covid-19 vaccine. This is a really good start to stopping the spread of Covid-19 from getting worse and worse but the fight is not over yet!
Health Minister Nadhim Zahawi, the one in charge of the vaccine rollout, tweeted that 137,897 were vaccinated in the first seven days! There will be another 1,000 followings on to this in the next week or so. During the first week, more than 70 hospitals took part in the vaccination program.
