Covid-19 is one of the worst pandemics to happen in recent years, one of the hardest viruses to understand and one of the hardest viruses to get a cure for, since it is a new virus that no one has ever heard of till it started in Wuhan, China. Right now, over 5,500,000 people have got this virus and over 300,000 have died to it and over 2,000,000 have recovered from the deadly virus, however, there could be more virus cases that we don’t know about and others may just think it is a cold and or flu! With the rise in cases in other places there are some new updates that have been made across the world.

Summary

The WHO, World Health Organisation, has decided to suspend the testing of Hydroxychloroquine as a Covid-19 treatment. This could have been what helps those who have the virus, however the WHO has stopped the testing of this drug.

In the UK, the 25/05/20 had the best records we have seen in months! With 1,625 infected, almost 2,000 less than the past two days and 121 deaths, almost 300 lower than the past week. Slowly going down but their could be a second spike of this virus if the UK are not careful.

USA has decided to reopen gyms in some states and started to restart the economy after only being in lockdown for a week or two. Maybe less time as well. Donald Trump has some stuff to think about.

USA has currently had the worst amount of deaths and infections in the world right now. Brazil slowly catching up. 19,790 cases found yesterday and 505 deaths overall. Over 1,000,000 active cases, nearly 100,000 deaths and 464,670 recovered from Covid-19 so far.

Right now, China is one of the safest places to be right now, there could still be more to come in China but right now there is a reported 83 active cases around China right now. They were the first place to have the virus and now the first to nearly have it gone!

Coronavirus started in Europe back in December, that was the earliest cases that was found, but no one knew it was Covid-19 until March 2020.
