A driver was stopped on the m6 and was found to have his wife in his boot.
He disregarded the current lockdown to go and pick up some windows he bought for £15 off eBay…
He was stopped on Sunday on his way back from Salford, where he collected the windows.
According to the Police, the man said that his wife was in the boot because she “couldn’t fit” in the front or back seats on the return journey.
A driver has travelled from Coventry to Salford to collect a £15 EBay purchase of windows. His wife could not fit in the vehicle so she was travelling in the boot for the return journey when stopped on the M6 Cheshire. The driver was given a TOR for the offence.

People online were left in disbelief after the Police put out the message in social media, with mixed reactions from followers.
Anthony Collier said: “I am amazed at how many people are still making unnecessary journeys.”
Jonny Evans jokingly said: “Maybe he saw a window of opportunity.”
Police have recently even set up road blocks to prevent unnecessary trips, and the forces continue to stop people all across the country to make sure their journey is for good reason.
