The UK is set to see temperatures up to 24°c next week, according to some experts.

There’s a prediction of sunshine ahead.

The warm weather is supposed to hit the south, just like the other week, but the north should also expect some nice weather.

It’s meant to heat up a bit over the weekend, with it continuing to get hotter next week. A met office representative said: “The weather will be dry and sunny for most with the warm temperatures affecting much of the country as warm air comes in from the South.

“Over the weekend we will see temperatures in the high teens, low 20s for much of the country i.e. London – Saturday 18 or 19°C, London – Sunday 20 or 21°C and then by Tuesday London could well see temperatures as high as 24 or 25°C.”

He did also admit that the south and the capital will probably see the best of the weather; Scotland could apparently expect some snow on the mountains!

Meteorologist Simon Partridge said: “As we go through Friday, it’s not a great deal of change. Another night of fairly chilly temperatures with some patchy frost around on Friday morning.

“Friday day we will see sunny spells, more cloud around than Thursday, and sadly for Scotland, it will still be cloudy with patchy rain throughout the day.

“Temperatures up a little again, so highs of maybe 18 degrees for the south coast of England and Wales.

“Into the weekend it’s a bit more of a split. Cloud and patchy rain in the North on Saturday, with persistent rain in Scotland on Sunday.

“Whereas the southern half of the country staying mostly dry with sunny spells with highs of 19, perhaps 20.

“Further north, temperatures of 14 and 15 are expected across Scotland. We lose the risk of frost by then.

“By Sunday, still warm in the South, seeing 20, maybe even 21. And staying between 14 and 15 in the North.

“But it’s looking like the following week will be a bright and sunny one.”

There has been little word on how long the warm weather is going to stay for, though, and it might be hard to say. As last week the temperature in the North dropped by 10° in the space of 24 hours, and hasn’t really bounced back since.
