With just over 14 weeks to go until the UK leaves the EU The Prime Minister Teresa May has decided to postpone the vote on the proposed deal until the 14th January. No rush then given that there will be hardly any time for a plan B if it is as expected voted down. OK, we can understand delaying until after Christmas but why not get it done the week commencing the 7th? Assuming the MPs can drag themselves back into Parliament on the 3rd (like the rest of us) they will have 3 days to debate (bicker) and then get the vote out of the way. That extra week could come in useful come March.
