Edwin Jackson earned his first win of the season in Oakland against the Indians, allowing two runs on two hits — fourth-inning homers by Francisco Lindor and Jose Ramirez — while striking out six batters over 6 2/3 innings of work. Josh Phegley tied the game with a two-run blast in the sixth, and Matt Olson hit his 18th home run of the season in the eighth with his own two-run shot. Cleveland’s Adam Plutko pitched four perfect innings before finding trouble in the sixth, allowing three runs in the loss.
