A’s storm back with 3 homers, win in extras

The Athletics couldn’t figure out Corey Kluber all day, but as soon as the Cy Young Award winner headed to the bench, their offense awoke. Behind home runs from Jed Lowrie, Khris Davis and Stephen Piscotty, the A’s stormed back against the Indians bullpen for an 11-inning win on Saturday at Progressive Field. Kluber pitched seven scoreless innings, allowing five hits and striking out three. Indians reliever Neil Ramirez allowed the runs that tied the game in the eighth — a two-run homer to Lowrie and a solo shot to Davis.
