Manchester City will be facing Atletico Madrid in the Champions League! What a game this will be. Manchester United was knocked out by Atletico Madrid in the round of 16. Will they be able to do it to the other side of Manchester?
Last time, Manchester City were runners-up in the Champions League, losing to Chelsea 1-0 because of one simple mistake that was made by City and Kai Havertz managed to break the deadlock and they kept the lead!
Atletico Madrid however struggles in the Champions League, making it out of the group stages but nowhere else. Will this time be any different?

Manchester City went up against a seemingly hard opponent in Atletico Madrid. It was believed that Manchester City struggled to get an attack going as Diego Simeone was providing a strong defensive backline, however, Manchester City managed to beat the odds and won the contest 1-0.
The match was close from the off-set, with Manchester City applying more pressure to the game than Atletico Madrid. Therefore shows Manchester City was in favor to win.
After getting their hands dirty in the heart of defensive football, they managed to score and win the game to have a 1-0 advantage in the next game due to take place on the 13th of April 2022!
