Chelsea Lose to Real Madrid Under Lampard!

Frank Lampard has taken over Chelsea after Graham Potter got sacked from Chelsea. Lampard was over the moon to be returning to the Blues, however the night could have went better for former player Frank Lampard. 

Chelsea had the first chance in the opening minutes of the game, this was seemingly going towards Chelsea until Real Madrid started performing more and more as time went on.

20 minutes into the first half, Chelsea go 1-0 down with Benzema. This was a great chance for the French striker and Chelsea tried for a quick response, however Sterling missed the chance to draw.

Chelsea were not in form after that goal as there were a lot of mistakes happening in the center of the park, however they managed to keep it 1-0 until the 73rd minute.

Ben Chilwell got sent off and that started the downfall of Chelsea.

The score ended 2-0 to Real Madrid, however Lampard has stated that he believes that in the second leg, Chelsea could beat Real Madrid. Could this happen?
