US beauty brand Glossier have finally brought their bestselling Zit Stick to the UK. Their much loved Zit Stick it a spot busting treatment and they have altered the formula for the UK.

The US version currently contains 5% benzoyl peroxide however, here in the UK that ingredient cannot be sold to people in products over the counter. Glossier had to reformulate the Zit Stick so people in the UK can get it easy. The UK version contains 2% salicylic acid – according to dermatologists this is the correct dose to help with spots. It also contains tea tree oil with helps heal congested areas quickly.
The Zit Stick is a twisty clicker pen with stainless steel tips which deliver the product hygienically. The formula will dry down to a translucent finish. The brand recommends to apply up to three times a day until the spot has disappeared.
In a clinical trial 96% of people said the stick made their blemish appear smaller after 24 hours.
