When Kim Kardashian West first announced her shapewear she received a lot of criticism for the name. Kim originally called the line ‘Kimono’ however, the term is traditionally for a Japanese dress which promoted backlash.
Since being accused of cultural appropriation, Kim said she would change the name and now after a month she took to Instagram to announce the new name of her shapewear.
