Ariana Grande’s high ponytail is just about as famous as herself and as it is her go to look many of us forget that it can come off and it is all fake hair.
This weekend the singer tweeted a picture of her curly-haired self age five captioned : “If I’m honest this is still exactly what I look like without lashes and my pony,” adding “the only difference now is that hand now says bbq grill finger”. The picture was from a newspaper article which showed her riding a Zamboni at Florida Panthers hockey game in 1998.

A fan then requested Ari showed a more recent photo of her natural self. She followed up the request by posting a video of herself showing off her curls and a curled fringe.

Her twitter fans then wanted her to bring back her natural style to which Ari responded: “They gotta grow first! That blonde last year… tarnished. BUT they’re like halfway back.”
It was less than 24 hours before she whipped back the ponytail that went down to her waist. She has always been honest about the fact her super long pony is actually fake and even sings it in her new single 7 Rings, ‘You like my hair? Gee thanks, just bought it.’
She did show ever fans a glimpse of her short hair after her break up with Pete Davidson. In November she showed her hair straight and shoulder length which also featured in the music video Thank You Next.
