Dua Lipa says her new album is coming soon and the pop star has said “It’s been a long time coming so I’m super-happy”. Dua has become increasing voicing about LGBT rights and female equality.
Dua Lipa told PA: “I’m very excited for everyone to hear the new record. I think for me it’s about being able to have that ongoing conversation with my fans and my listeners.
“With the music, it’s also about ensuring they have a safe space, a place where they can come and listen to the music and hang out. That’s what’s really important to me.
“It’s coming soon … all I can say is soon. But I’m very excited. It’s been a long time coming so I’m super happy.
“Yeah, I’m nervous. It feels like it’s happening all over again but I’m super happy.”

Last week, Dua Lipa was among a host of stars who performed at Glastonbury Festival.
The album is said to be a “nostalgic” pop records, she could not say when it would be released but she has said it would be the end of the year in the past. She is also rumoured to be working with Nile Rodgers, of Chic.
