For the first time ever, Childish Gambino has made history at this year’s Grammys. He managed to not only win the record of the year, he also won song of the year! This is the first time that a rap song has ever won two awards, what an achievement! This song was made on the 5th May 2018 and has managed to win the Grammys as the best song of 2018! This is America beat the likes of All the stars by Kendrick Lamar and SZAs, The Middle by Zedd, Maren Morris and Grey! This is America however did spark a huge debate when it was released in May, because of the gun violence in it. Childish Gambino, also known as actor Donald Glover, was the first Artist to be absent from collecting his award since Amy Winehouse in 2008!
