David Lloyd George wanted revenge and reparation for the people of Britain, the war guilt clause which Germany was forced to sign pleased the people of Britain and the reparation that were received when to help people rebuild what they had lost even though there was little damage to British soil. However David Lloyd George feared that the Treaty was too harsh on Germany and they would seek revenge later on.
With the military restriction put in place Britain once again ruled the sea with navel supremacy. Then at the end of the First World War the British Empire was bigger than it had ever been before. But then Lloyd George predicted that Britain would have to fight in another war in 25 years time and everything would cost double the amount as before.
