Recluse Spider

This spider is mostly located in Argentina, Chile and Peru you are mostly likely to meet this spider. However it not one for being seen it like to keep hidden in dark spaces. 

The recluse spider is also known as the Violin-back spider, because of violin shape marking on it back. This is not your average spider it has 6 eyes instead of 8 and has a bee like sting bite.

However the aftermath of being bitten by one of these spiders is horrible, it rots away flesh and bone. This spider is also known for being one of the most venomous house spiders in the world. 

This spider grows to about 40 millimetres long, with enzymes in it venom which causes body cells to rupture. It also known a female spider can live for more than two years without food or water. 

However there is a positive light to this deadly spider, it can produce silk which is freakishly strong. It so strong that gram for gran it’s tougher than steel. Even Kevlar a bulletproof synthetic fibre. Scientists are trying to copy its web design as it is flexible, strong and less prone to snapping.
