
The Tyrannosaurus is a large theropod that grew length of 12.0m which would relate to the length of bus. It also have they average weight of 7000kg. This was an extreme high apex predator that was a carnivorous. This apex predator lived in the Late Cretaceous period, this was approximately 68-66 million years ago and inhabited what we know today as Canada and the US.
This dinosaur was equipped with 60 saw-edged, bone crushing, pointed teeth that were capable of doing massive damage. This predator moved on two legs and mostly ate anything it could sink it teeth into. The fossil to this giant dinosaur was found in Canada and the US. The Tyrannosaurus lives up to its reputation as being one of the most fearsome animals of all time and its were round about 20cm long and was three times more powerful than that of a lion.
There has been bite marks found on Triceratops which proves they could crunch though bones, and Tyrannosaurus that drug up and show that it contained the bones of its prey. The skull was 1.5 m long, they have a good sense of smell to hunt live prey while also scavenge off dead bodies which would scare off others so it didn’t have to share.
But it has also been proven that they did fight their own kind weather food or mate.
