Wilder Wants to fight Joshua?

Over the past year, Deontay Wilder has been off the radar in boxing after losing his WBC World Heavyweight Championship against Tyson Fury. There was a massive chance that Wilder was going to retire as he wasn’t wanting and or knew if he was returning, however he has a comeback fight coming up and he has already stated that he wants to fight one massive heavyweight!

Wilder is set to fight Robert Helenius in New York for his comeback fight. After losing to Fury, Wilder has a lot to prove in this fight.

The heavyweight has already set his goal on another massive fighter in the heavyweight division, as he wants to fight him after this fight.

“I would love to do that fight in Africa, it’s still the number one fight in the world for everyone. Everywhere I go, people always talk about me versus Joshua.” said Wilder to the BBC.

Joshua is on Wilder’s hit list at the minute. These two were meant to fight for all the titles, however all talks went down and now none of them have the titles anymore.

“We both have roots from there, I think it would be an amazing place to have it, to go back home. To go back to the motherland. A continent full of our people. I can just see that being an amazing fight, win, lose or draw.

“I think we’ll get the respect and love from all the people over there.” Wilder continued to explain.

Will this be the fight everyone wants?
