WBC Demanded Rematch Between Wilder and Fury!

WBC Demanded Rematch Between Wilder and Fury!

After a controversial draw between Deontay Wilder and Tyson Fury, the WBC board have told both teams to settle a deal together so they can have a rematch! These two fighters have already been in talks about having a rematch this year, however Joshua joined the party and tried to get an opportunity to fight the WBC champion Deontay Wilder. Joshua and Wilder have been going at each other for some time now, but we have heard that Wilder’s team haven’t been replying to anything Joshua’s team sends them. At this current stage, we are more likely to see Fury v Wilder 2 than Joshua to fight one of them. This could determine who might fight Joshua though, since this was the original plan anyway. The winner of the Fury v Wilder fight was going to fight Joshua if the deal was done well. Wilder will hope to improve before fighting Fury again… when they get the deal done!

Deontay Wilder and Tyson Fury

WBC have been trying to get a rematch between these two for some time now, but Joshua wants to fight one of them at Wembley in April. Knowing boxing, Tyson Fury would agree to a deal that would be better suited for him, so he would have agreed to fight Joshua for all his titles, instead of Deontay Wilder! Since, the WBC board have demanded a match to happen between Fury and Wilder to happen, this fight is most likely going to happen instead of the Fury v Joshua or Joshua v Wilder fight! A lot of people agreed that Tyson Fury won the contest on December 1st, with some thinking the referee was on Fury’s side and thinking that Fury was down on the mat for 10 seconds. Either way, there’s going to be another bout between these two fighters, and it should be a good fight too, since they both think there “the best heavyweights in the division”.

What does this mean for Joshua? Joshua will have to go and find a different opponent to fight in April. Wilder is out of the question and so if Fury at this current stage, so who will Joshua fight? There are only really two fighters he can fight in April, one being Dillain Whyte, after he knocked out Dereck Chisora in the 11th round, or Jarrell Miller, he went to the press conference between Alexandra Povetkin and Anthony Joshua and ended up having a face to face with him! Who will become the WBC world heavyweight champion in upcoming months? Will Deontay Wilder Retain the title? Or will Tyson Fury win back what is rightfully his?
