Oleksandr Usyk has managed to find himself an opponent for his bout on the 12th October 2019. He finally has an opponent for his heavyweight debut, may not be someone he was wanting but he can finally have his debut into the heavyweight division in a few days. The man he will be going up against is Chazz Witherspoon. This will be the man that could have a huge chance to beat Usyk’s winning ways. This has been long overdue and Usyk has finally got his chance and could be named one of the best in the division if he does the same as what he did in the cruiserweight division.
First debut for Usyk, so he will be wanting to prove that he can win in the heavyweight division and can have the chance to win the unified world heavyweight championship. That is what he sets out to do in this division and wants to win all the championships in the division. Right now, Usyk wants to try and see what the heavyweight division is going to be like and would love to fight someone for the world titles, however it has been said he could be fighting the winner of the Joshua v Ruiz 2 fight on December 7th!
Chazz Witherspoon has been boxing since 2004 and has had a great run in the heavyweight division and could be the man to beat Usyk if he plays his cards right, however Usyk has got a fight style not many fighters understand, he has been to the canvas but has never been defeated.
