UFC Vegas 17 – Thompson Vs Neal – Results
So the final UFC event of 2020 is over and done! The main event of Stephen “Wonderboy” Thompson and Geoff Neal at Welterweight ended up with another impressive victory for Wonderboy by way of an unanimous decision. In his post fight interview he called out Jorge Masvidal for a rematch but there are talks that Masvidal is slated to face Colby Covington, so watch this space!
Jose Aldo got back to winning ways at 135 lbs, as he tries once again to make a run for the belt.
This was the last event of 2020 – and what a year it has been! We’ve got a lay-off of about 3 weeks before we return in January with UFC Vegas 18, then the following week it is the much anticipated return of Conor McGregor in the rematch with Dustin Poirier at UFC 257
