UFC Fight Night Blaydes Vs Dos Santos – Results

This past weekend the UFC returned to Raleigh, with a card that would put some order to the heavyweight division.  Highly touted and top ranked contender Curtis Blaydes faced off against former champion and fan favourite Junior dos Santos.  Blaydes dominated with strikes throughout the first and comprehensively took the victory by way of TKO in the second round.  There are a couple of potential fights for Blaydes moving forward – with Francis Ngannou facing Jairzinho Rozenstruick, and Stipe Miocic facing Daniel Cormier over the forthcoming months

Also on the card in the welterweight division Michael Chiesa was up against Rafael dos Anjos.  Chiesa seems to have found his true weight division, following his move from 155 pounds, as a solid decision victory over the experienced dos Anjos gave him his 3rd straight victory
