The UFC made its first visit to Prague this past weekend, and the headline fight at heavyweight saw Thiago Santos defeat on-form Jan Blachowicz by TKO in round 3. It will be interesting to see what this now does for Santos, knowing that Jon Jones is defending his title against Anthony Smith this next weekend, surely, he will be next in line. Either way, he announced he was heading off to Vegas to watch the fight!
The co-main event saw another heavyweight battle between Marcos Rogerio de Limo and the ever-popular Stefan Struve. Struve was to come out victorious this time, by way of an arm triangle at the mid-point of round 2. However, Struve’s future is now uncertain as he appeared to indicate in his post-fight interview that this could be the last fight he has in the octagon.
