UFC Fight Night – Assuncao vs Moraes Feb 2nd 2019
The main event from Fortaleza in Brazil, features the bantamweight rematch between Raphael Assuncao and Marlon Moraes, which will determine the title contender, according to UFC President Dana White. Assuncao was victorious at their last meeting at UFC 212. Assuncao is currently on a four-fight win streak, but Moraes boasts two consecutive victories himself – with fights lasting a total of 100 seconds! T J Dillashaw, coming off a loss at flyweight only last weekend, awaits the victor and will himself want to be back to winning ways
Co-main event of the evening is Jose Aldo against Renato Moicano, who are both looking to bolster their positions within the flyweight rankings, albeit with the news that Aldo has already stated his is looking to retire by the end of the year. Moicano meanwhile, with victories already over Cub Swanson and Jeremy Stephens, is looking to prove his worth and with him never having lost a professional fight in his native Brazil, the odds may be turning in his favour.
