Over the past few years in heavyweight boxing, Anthony Joshua and Deontay Wilder were the top fighters in the division, no one was able to beat them, however both fighters never managed to get a fight sorted, however Tyson Fury and Oleksandr Usyk are now the best in the division.
Tyson Fury beat Deontay Wilder for the WBC world heavyweight championship and tired to set up a fight against Anthony Joshua, however all kept going down and Joshua ended up losing his titles to Usyk.
For many months, Tyson Fury has been offering Joshua a large amount of money to step aside so Fury can go up against new heavyweight champion Usyk in a mega fight, however the WBC board have other ideas!
Whyte will now go up against Fury in a heavyweight bout for the WBC world heavyweight championship, as Whyte has been mandatory challenger for some time now. This has been a long time coming for Whyte and this deal is soon to happen as Whyte has been waiting for some time to try and fight the WBC champion, after Fury went up against Wilder 3 times before the champion was really crowd!
This fight is yet to have a date, however the fight will more than likely trigger the comeback fight between Oleksandr Usyk and Anthony Joshua, as Joshua is due a rematch as it stated in the contract!
