After an incredible 11 years of boxing, Tony Bellew has officially announced he’s retiring! He’s decided to hand in the gloves! He has said he was thinking of retiring after his fight against the undisputed champion Oleksandr Usyk, if he won, he would have been the undisputed cruiserweight champion. If he lost, he retires! Lost the fight! Waited 12 days to say that he’s handing in the gloves! 34 fights altogether, 30 wins, 3 lost and 1 drawn, he will always remember his record. He won matches people didn’t even think he would win. When announcing his retirement, Bellew said “From the negative naysayers to the fans, today I am announcing I’m officially retired, there will be no more fights from me. The only things you’ll see me doing from here on in is to try and act sensible and behave myself. I’ve had a fantastic career. I’ve realized my dream. Thank you first and foremost for all the supporters.” Humble guy! One question stands though… Will he return to the ring to fight again?
