Tommy Fury stopped boxing to become a celebrity on Love Island and said he would return to the world of boxing after a few months and has now said that he will come back to boxing and fight someone, but who is it that he is wanting to fight? The light heavyweight boxer is set to return in December of this year but doesn’t have an official fighter yet! The fight is set to happen on the 21st December 2019 in the Copper Box Arena.
There are many opponents which he could go for… however the fighter Tommy Fury would love to fight is… KSI! KSI just won his first professional fight against Logan Paul and Tommy Fury wants to fight him already! He believes this would be right for the world of boxing and fans would enjoy it. The “Battle of Britain” with YouTuber KSI! “He [KSI] is from YouTube and I’m from Love Island and we both have a big following in the UK,” said Fury! “This time next year hopefully we will have a big fight,” Fury told BT Sport. A lot of fans would love to see this fight, but if it happens is a different story!
Fury has had 2 professional fights and won both, Jevgenijs Andrejevs by points decision and Callum Ide via KO! This is a huge surprise to a lot of boxing fans due to KSI only just starting his professional career and now he could be fighting the brother of Tyson Fury if he does accept the fight in the end! This fight may happen in the future, may not happen in December but Fury may continue to get this fight to happen and KSI may have a say on this, however right now the Love Island star is wanting to fight him!
