Tommy Fury Beat Jake Paul via Split Decision!

Over the weekend, the highly anticipated fight that took 2 years to sort finally happened! Jake Paul vs Tommy Fury. There was a lot of pressure for the young fighter Tommy as he was deemed to lose from the start, however he showed the world why boxers can beat YouTubers.

Tommy Fury went up against the YouTube star turned pro fighter Jake Paul in a boxing match which consisted of 8 rounds.

The fight took place at 10pm BST and in Saudi Arabia.

A lot of people had Jake Paul to win this fight and even said that Tommy was not as good as the YouTube star.

The fight started and Tommy Fury was showing the world that he has what it takes to fight more and more.

For 2 years, Tommy Fury was getting told he was ducking Jake, however Fury beat the YouTube star via Split Decision.

There was a moment in round 8 however with Tommy Fury getting knocked down by Jake Paul, however some fans believe that he slipped on the canvas. This did not matter.

One judge scored it 75-74 to Paul, with the other two scoring it 76-73 to Fury.

“For the past two years this is all that has consumed my life,” an emotional Fury, who has now won all nine of his professional bouts, said on BT Sport.

“Everybody thought I was running scared but tonight I made my own legacy.”

After dedicating the fight to his new-born baby daughter Bambi, Fury added: “This is my first main event, I am going to get bigger and better and if he wants a rematch, bring it on.”

This was a massive moment for Tommy Fury and he showed that by having tears of joy when he beat the YouTube star.

Jake Paul said he believes that he won and will go for the rematch after this.

KSI had to comment on this and even said that both of them were “trash” which indicates that KSI believes that he can beat both of them.
