The Bronze Bomber!

The Bronze Bomber!

Heavyweight boxing is getting harder and harder each year, more fighters are proving to become well-made champions, as others have some of the hardest punches in the world, however there is one man that was made for heavyweight boxing and is still yet to lose his winning streak, however almost lost it, and still has the potential to become the undisputed champion of the world… Deontay Wilder. He has proven to be one of the world’s best fighters and isn’t looking like he is stopping any time soon! The Bronze Bomber has been on fire these past few years he’s been boxing and can still go on, he still must fight Tyson Fury again and fight for the unified championships, but right now he can be considered the best.

Deontay Wilder was born on the 22nd October 1985 in Tuscaloosa, Alabama, USA. He started his long boxing journey in 2008 when he fought against Ethan Cox. This was after he won the Bronze medal in the 2008 heavyweight Olympics. He won that bout and then continued to fight and not go the distance until he fought the WBC world heavyweight champion in 2015. He ended up winning the bout via unanimous decision against Bermane Stiverne. Wilder is an amazing boxer and should get more credit for what he has achieved already and there is still more to come.

What could be next for the WBC world heavyweight champion? He still has to fight Tyson Fury, which has been confirmed for February 2020, but the date is still a mystery, he says he wants to become the undisputed champion of the world, Wilder wants to fight Andy Ruiz and Anthony Joshua, however the winner of that bout may go and fight the winner of the Tyson Fury v Wilder fight. Overall Wilder is one of the best boxers currently. With 41 wins, 40 via way of KO and only 1 draw. He could be the best boxer right now but hasn’t went for the other titles.
